After being in the NFT gaming scene for awhile now, seeing all the empty promises and abandoned projects. There is one project that truly stand out and delivers to it's audience at an incredible pace (especially compared to these other games), TACO. Which is really surprising, the fact that no one on Publish0x or any writing platform has even talked about this project in in-depth. This article will give new users the basic outline of the project.

Taco is an NFT project on the WAX blockchain that is focused on providing a comprehensive experience for users. It features a gaming platform, a cryptocurrency exchange, and a utility app. The project's goal is to be a leader in the Web3 space. In just one year, it has achieved significant success, becoming a top-performing project on WAX and one of the most popular games on all blockchains in terms of daily users. This success is due to the hard work of the development team, the youth and expertise of the team, and the support of the community.

Taco Universe is a game that utilizes 3 main features: Venues - that works like a land, Extractor - which is basically your miner (SHING), and Collectors - another miner to mine another type of currency(ONI).

Venues

Venues are upgradeable through the use of SHING. Venues generate SHING passively, they are able to create ingredients for further upgrades, once upgraded these Venues can unlock new features and benefit. Where you can change the name and appearance of the NFT, unlock the Play to Earn mode Brigade, and unlock the newest game in the ecosystem: Acryptia: Dungeon Card Game.

Each Venue in the Taco universe is connected to one or more Ingredient NFTs that can be created by burning SHING tokens within it. These Ingredients can be used to enhance Venues, but they can also be exchanged for Taco tokens.

Extractor

Extractors are a type of NFT in the Taco Universe that allows users to earn passive income. By simply holding them, users earn SHING tokens, which accumulate automatically and can be withdrawn to their wallet at any time. There is no limit on how much SHING can be claimed. Additionally, SHING is the primary currency used in the Taco Universe, as outlined in the project's tokenomics.

Collectors

Collectors are the exclusive method for obtaining and earning ONI tokens. ONI is a critical token in the Taco Universe and is necessary for obtaining Season Rewards in Acryptia, expanding Brigade, and for future uses of Venues and Extractors. There are only two ways to acquire ONI: by staking in the TACO/SHING fixed pool or by owning Venues. Once generated, ONI will be deposited into Collectors, from which it can be claimed.

The two current playable games: Brigade and Acryptia

Brigade

Brigade is a free feature that allows anyone to participate in the Taco ecosystem and earn rewards, regardless of whether they own NFTs or not. You can access the game through the website or the Taco Universe app and start earning SHING tokens by volunteering at different venues. Additionally, you may have the chance to win NFT prizes. To get started, no purchase is necessary. However, to enhance your earning potential and improve your chances of finding NFTs, Brigade Equipment NFTs can be purchased. These NFTs have two attributes, Power and Luck, that increase the amount of SHING earned and the chance of finding NFTs, respectively. These NFTs can be obtained through a daily lottery for Brigade users or on the Taco Marketplace. Additionally, Brigade Equipment NFTs can be improved through crafting, but it comes with a risk.

Acryptia

Acryptia is card base dungeon crawler game. If you are familiar with Slay The Spire, this game is basically a dumbed-down version of it. Which is really great for players who are not accustomed to these types of games to get into. You are rewarded with different rewards every season for completing the weekly and daily quests.

DeFi - Taco Swap

I myself haven't fully delve deep into this part of their ecosystem. From what I have gathered it is similar to Pancake Swap or any other De-Fi platform. Taco Swap is a decentralized exchange on the WAX blockchain that is designed to be safe and enjoyable for users. It empowers its users by offering low trading fees and outstanding rewards, provided by both Taco and other popular projects. The ultimate objective is to make DeFi accessible for all. This is achieved through a user-friendly and game-like swap interface that allows users to become familiar with liquidity systems, discover new projects, earn rewards, and save a significant number of tokens.

S.A.L.S.A Pool & M.E.A.L

S.A.L.S.A are single TACO token pools which gives one ore more tokens as rewards. Staking more TACO increases your staking level so you pay less fees. M.E.A.L is Taco's reward structure for Liquidity Pools, where players can earn 0.1% reward from every swap.

Both S.A.L.S.A and M.E.A.L rewards are fully transparent, pre-funded, and automated. Rewards are distributed and given to the player everyday at 9:00 UTC. Players would only need to withdraw to send these rewards to their wallet.

Taco Utility App

Taco is the first and only mobile application that allows you to manage your WAX NFTs and token wallets. It's a comprehensive utility tool that enables you to access your WAX wallet directly from your mobile device. With the Taco app, you can easily and quickly claim your tokens, monitor the growth of your NFTs, and track your transactions, all in one place.

Here is a summary of the key features of the Taco App:

• The app offers the ability to earn tokens for free through the Taco faucet.

• The app allows users to manage their wallet, track, select, and swap tokens, and see the equivalent value in WAX and USD.
