Weekend Briefs: Faucets and Freebies Updates (1/22/23)

It's been a fruitful crypto week for me, and I hope it has been for you, too! I managed to snag a handful of cool freebie crypto offers, some of which are still ongoing. Here's my latest rundown on some of the most notable changes and updates in my search for free crypto.

Coinbase Learning Rewards: KAVA

Hopefully you grabbed this reward when I first posted about it; it looks like it's disappeared from my account, but I've seen some chatter about it in the last 24 hours so it might still be available for you if you haven't claimed it yet. Coinbase Learning Rewards - one of my top sources for legitimate free crypto - launched a new Learning Rewards offer for Coinbase Exchange accounts, this time for $3.00 worth of KAVA.

$0.95 COIN App SentinelX NFC

I posted earlier this month that one of my Discord buds alerted us to a rare offer to get a SentinelX card for only $0.95 shipping. I received my card about 10 days after ordering, and it is very easy to use! I'm still on a free account with COIN, so I have to scan it every four hours, but it's a simple process: after adding it to my app with a few clicks via the right navigation menu on my first use, all I have to do now is place my card to the back of my phone whenever my boost is about to expire to recharge it. The SentinelX NFC gives free users a 12x boost on mining rewards; if you're a faithful user of the COIN app and a believer in in XYO, so far I'd say the 95 cents was a good investment. (At the time of writing this post, it looks like this offer is still available!)

ProBit Airdrops and AMA Rewards

Earlier this month I discovered that the ProBit exchange has been offering a lot of airdrop, learn & earn, and AMA rewards to their users. So I went ahead and signed up for an account, and so far have participated in two airdrops (one of which has ended, the other ends within the next 24 hours), AND won a quiz question during a Telegram AMA earlier in the week. ProBit's posts indicate that airdrop recipients will receive their awards within two weeks of closing. For the AMA's, they're more ambiguous - there's a deadline to submit your information within five days of the AMA, but no information on when those rewards will hit user's accounts. So, for now, I haven't seen any of my rewards hit my account yet - but I'll be sure to update if/when I do.

New-To-Me Faucet: BitsTaken

As you're probably aware, I test out a lot of faucet and PTC sites in my search to earn free crypto. I've been seeing a lot of ads lately for a site called BitsTaken, so I did some research and decided to make an account and try it out. (As always, DYOR! In my personal approach to researching faucet sites, I always have a good anti-virus program running, and I check out sites that rank user reviews and web reputation scores before I dive in.) This week, I've been running the BitsTaken faucet (available every minute, but does have a daily limit that I estimate to be somewhere between 75-100 rolls), viewing the surf and window ads, and claiming the daily achievements for running the faucet. The site offers just a handful of payout crypto options - almost all of them are through FaucetPay, but the last one (Shiba Inu) pays directly to your Coinbase Exchange account. I opted for the latter, and was happy to get about $0.02 of SHIB immediately in my Coinbase account after only been active for about a day and half. So, not a huge earner at the moment, but an easy one.

CoinPayU Faucet Restrictions

As I mention in my last two weekend briefs, CoinPayU has been cutting back on the amount of claims users can grab each day. At first, I didn't notice a difference; last week, I was hitting my limit around two to four hours before the daily reset. This week, my limit has been around six hours before daily reset. CoinPayU is still my highest earning crypto faucet and PTC/GPT site, but could this be the first steps towards a more permanent nerf? While I hope not, I'm still going to be focusing on this platform as long as I feel my time is being fairly compensated - get it while the getting's good, right?
