Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, a Total Failure

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds was released in big hype among the fans, promoted by cryptocurrency influencers, due to it's fun graphics and capability to farm Territe away from keyboard and possibility to mint this Territe to sell it across blockchain so other players could increase they gear score, enabling stronger players to farm more Territe in afk farming areas.

When i say the game graphics is cool, they really are. The game design is cartoon based, although the spell effects are no more than just ok, i have to say this game is pretty addicting.

The initial propose of the game is solid: You get strong with no big hassle giving you have enough time to complete the daily quests and events. As you get strong, you can farm the currency and sell it on blockchain. No big deal, but also no big break on game industry. Pretty standard sincerely.

But the game was released with a big issue, and that i can say for sure. I've tested it.

While it is not that hard to obtain some Territe to sell, the game is completely p2w, and you will have hard time trying to farm an decent amount of Territe to even worth selling to begin with. In the end, it just worth more reinvesting the Territe you farmed on your own character so you can get stronger.

But the problem do not stop there, if you wan't to get strong in this game you have to complete the daily quests and event's and they get boring fast, that can i say. Not only they get boring fast, but they takes a long time to complete, so if you think you just need to leave your character afk so you can just level using the in-game 'auto farm' feature you are incredibly wrong. It takes very long to be able to only gain a few levels farming afk, and when i say it take very long, i really mean it.

So unless you want to spend a few hours a day to be able to complete the dailies, it's not even worth to trying it.

The game also have a nice feature that let you to farm offline while your character stays connected in-game, but you can only use this for about four hour daily. You can get more offline farming time, but you have to pay for it for real world money in the in-game shop, so it is not even worth it since it's expensive compared to the benefit you get.

Also, everyday that passes, the higher level players get's stronger, and for those starting today it get's harder and harder to keep up to the task of trying to reach levels in which you can compete with those on higher levels, since there is no level or gear level cap.

Yes, the game receives updates now and then, but as far as i known, there are no plans on making ease for those starting, and also no plans to fix the game economy, so if you want to really enjoy this game, prepare yourself to spend a real life small fortune.

Another cool thing that could be added were the possibility of in-game character market, so strong characters could be sold. But i don't think they will do that.

So despite the fact that this game is at most a bit fun to play and have some nice graphics, there is not much to see in it more than infinite grinding.

I really would find fun if developers could fix these game problems, since it is sometimes enjoyable to play. This could be a great game.

Sincerely, best wishes.
