Dan Bainbridge, co-founder of Publish0x in response to a post on reddit.com revealed Ethereum (ETH) will be added to Publish0x as a payment method for readers and writers on the crypto agnostic blogging platform.

He said: 

Thanks for sharing whoever put this in :) I'm the other founder :) And the basic idea was to make something "like steemit" (anyone can blog about anything and anyone can tip anyone and tips are free and come from a pool) but without the needless token, without the politics, bias, centralised control of what gets seen, needing to game the system that can come with that. Also then to be multi token (we have DAI, BAT and LRC right now and ETH itself coming in a week) and more crypto agnostic.

And so far so good, and our goals are much bigger than "being a steemit alternative" now, with 100k users and $63k worth of real crypto given out we think we are really onto something :)

This is good news as it's going to make a whole lot of difference. In simple terms, publish0x users in no time will start receiving tips in $ETH and also not forgetting $BAT, $DAI, $LRC. 

Let's anticipate how this development will influence the Publish0x platform and its stakeholders.

Substantial Growth of the Publish0x Platform

Publish0x a week ago achieved a milestone of 100k users and at the time of publishing the number has increased significantly. Since the launch of Publish0x, a total of $68k+ has been paid in crypto to users. 

The introduction of ETH will contribute massively to the growth of Publish0x. We are likely to see an increase in the numbers of new users (readers and writers). The reason that will fuel this move would be the fact that Ethereum is the second most popular crypto to Bitcoin and widely used in the crypto space. It's much preferred due to its global reach and liquidity. 

The majority of Publish0x users in the long round convert their $BAT, $LRC, and $DAI earned to $ETH for easy cashout to FIAT. For example, I most often use an escrow group on Whatsapp to exchange my crypto to FIAT. What I have realized is almost no one is interested in altcoins with the exception of ETH. You are always forced to trade your holdings for either BTC or ETH for a stress-free cashout. Earning ETH on publish0x will make the process much easier and cost-efficient.

An Opportunity for Publish0x Ambassadors

If you are Publish0x ambassador, praise the Lord lol. Basically, every Publish0x is a potential ambassador. All that is required is to start spreading the word about Publish0x and encourage people to join the platform. In return for your effort, you get 5% of your referral's tips for life. This might be a golden opportunity if you have eyes to see. 

Imagine how people will respond to a hyperlink with a pickup line like "Earn ETH for reading and writing articles". There is a high probability that people in the crypto space will click on the link as it's captivating. I believe this will work because I have had a similar experience with tipping bots on twitter. From my observation, more people turn to engage with tweets with $ETH as an incentive regardless of the reward pool than unpopular cryptos. The situation is the same for the likes of Bitcoin and USDT as they are more preferred. 

As an ambassador, it will be a good strategy to embed how you can earn ETH to your promos. It might help increase your referrals and as well as your earnings.

$LRC Still Remains The Boss

Since LRC was introduced on Publish0x, we've received more of LRC from tips than the others cryptos. In my opinion, we will still be receiving more of LRC than DAI, BAT, and now ETH. A possible distribution will look like:

LRC = 40%
BAT = 20%
ETH = 20%
DAI = 20%

In reference to exchange and transfer fees, i.e. fees incurred in the process of withdrawing your earnings (BAT, DAI, LRC) and swapping them for other cryptos like bitcoin and Ethereum. If what discussed in the previous paragraph(token distribution) holds true, we will still need the services of instant exchange platforms like Atomic Wallet and changeNOW to swap our tokens. When ETH is introduced, remember that it won't be the only crypto available for payout, and thus resulting in the need for a swap service. However, we are going to save on fees as we will most often swap 3/4th of our total earnings to ETH.

Earning Ethereum in addition to the Basic Attention Token and the other cryptos on Publish0x will be exciting for all of us. As seen in the comment section of @Cryptonator`s Airdrop Hunt's post the Publish0x community has shown keen interest in the development.
