Today I like to tell you something about the Xaya-Gaming-Network. Xaya (CHI) is the evolution of HunterCoin (HUC) and a revolution in gaming on the blockchain. First I like to give you a brief introduction to HunterCoin. Then we can move on to the part where I explain to you the Xaya-Network and how it can change the way games are interacting with the blockchain. Last but not least, I give you an overview of all the games and resources like network-stats already available on the Xaya-Network.
Let´s start with HunterCoin

HunterCoin was the first real blockchain game on the bitcoin network. It started in 2004 and is still playable until today. If you want, give it a try and "CLICK HERE".
Here is the Coin Information from their website:
- 42 million HUCs will be mined
- The current distribution: 10 Coins per block (1 to Miner, 9 into the World)
- 1 minute block times
- Worlds First Dual Algo – (SHA256 and Scrypt – each with own difficulty, 2 minute block times each)
- Each Algo can be Merge Minded (with Bitcoin / Litecoin etc)
- Retarget every block based on the last 2016 blocks
- Block Reward halving approx every 4 years
- Crown of Fortune – a Unique Item on the Map that generates 0.25 HUCs per block for the holder
- Worlds First Human Mineable Crypto
- Worlds First Real MMO Decentralized Gameworld
- Worlds First Real Blockchain Game

Xaya formerly Chimeara
Ok, this was a bit of information about Huntercoin, but hold on... more is on the way. Now we move on to the Xaya-Network. Xaya (CHI) was formerly known as Chimera (CHI). They successfully finished their ICO with 307.679 BTC and 798 ETH as income. Now they are building their own game to show off the capabilities of their network. There are several games which uses the network today. In an alpha stage is TreatFighter and one in early pre-alpha build by the xaya-team is Taurion.
More stats from ICO:

But enough sweetening, I know you want to read the good stuff now. So let´s move on to the "How it works" section.
How it works
Next, I like to show you the basics behind their approach. It is very easy to understand and don´t take too long to explain. One thing I have to mention is, that to play a game on the xaya network require a running XAYA daemon (xayad) to get the last state of the blockchain. Later I think, the xaya team or some other individuals can set up an API or something similar to send the mined blocks/moves to the user client as Infura.io does for Ethereum.

The XAYA daemon (xayad) is the software that interfaces with the XAYA blockchain. It has a JSON-RPC interface to create accounts, make moves in games, etc.
The Game State Processor (GSP) is where moves are processed and new game states are created.
The front end is where the game is displayed for players. It consumes game states. All the blockchain goodness is invisible to them.
Game Logic is the place, the logic decides, where to place the player or what items to show in the inventory. After all the calculation is done, the information is sent to the frontend to show the changes or items.
At the xaya network, everything is running fully decentralized. This means, that if you like a game on the xaya network, you could write your own client or frontend. As long as you follow the game rules, you can build whatever you want. Even displaying information about a game on a website or in a mobile app is no problem since all required information is available on the blockchain.
Another very important mechanism is the "names" and especially "name updates". Like on namecoin or huntercoin you could claim a name on the blockchain if the name is not already taken. With this name, you can send so-called "Moves" into the blockchain. This is done via a "name-update". These data have a JSON format and should look something like this.
{"g": {"tn": {"x":-1381,"y":1239} } }
The first {"g": indicates, that you are making a move to the game {"tn": with the values {"x":-1381 and "y":1239}. This Information is now fetched by the XAYA daemon and sent to the Game State Processor / front end which reflects the current move.
The move here would be to change the player´s location to x=-1381 | y=1239.
A simple diagram could be:
1. send a move to attack an enemy2. move is mined
3. the frontend show all player what move / attack was submited.
Since games on the xaya network should operate decentralized, no server is needed to send moves or calculate any state / or values. But a server can be used to control or maybe spawn NPC characters or start an in-game event. Even in-game items can be bought by sending a specific amount of CHI to the "game address", then the frontend only has to check if a valid transaction is present to make a player own an item like a sword or in-game currency.
If you found this information useful, then I can highly recommend the new XAYA tutorial wiki page.

Soccer Manager Crypto is a provably fair, decentralized, massively multiplayer football management game. This is the first game of its kind, and it’s nothing short of revolutionary. In a provably fair game, players are automatically protected from cheating. A single set of rules is universally enforced. There are no more hackers.
Decentralized means the game runs serverless and can scale to take on any number of players and leagues. No more restrictions on how you can play and who you can play with.
By combining these two elements, Soccer Manager Crypto provides a real Play-to-Earn gaming experience. Players have verifiable ownership of all their in-game assets. They can trade them for other virtual assets or sell them for real world cash.
Play-to-Earn gaming will make freemium gaming as we know it obsolete. Players are no longer burdened to keep shelling out money the further they progress in a game. The opposite is true — the more they play, the bigger the earnings.
Soccer Manager Crypto will work just like older versions of the game. Players have upkeep and needs that must be addressed while you expand your stadium and grow your fanbase. League matches take place twice a week, with each match being determined over the course of 60 to 90 minutes.

Taurion is a game set 1000s of years in the future, after the great Exodus from Earth when the 12 Houses headed out to the far reaches of the galaxies to find a new home.
3 Houses settled on planets not far from each other in the same sector of the galaxy (not far in galactic terms).
House Reubo - personify intelligence and understanding
House Ephrati - represent the ministration of patience and assiduity
House Jodon - represent strength and power
Each house's planets are low on natural resources for construction and general living...
Until, a strange signal was detected emanating from a solar system in the sector. All 3 houses sent scouts to the area. The source of the signal was found to be a hostile planet, not dis-similar to the ancient planet from the old texts known as Mars.
Landing parties from the 3 tribes began to examine the surface...
And there it was - a structure of exquisite beauty was discovered, it was not natural. Inside were ancient texts that even the Reubo's technology could not translate. Except for one word, a word written in an old tounge, the name of the planet.

Set in the post-apocalyptic fantasy world of Canedoom, players take on the personas of mighty wizard Overlords who can collect Candies and Recipes by sending their Treats off on Expeditions, or to the Treat Fighter Tournaments to compete in battle against other Overlords' Treats. Generally speaking, Expeditions return more Candies and Tournaments return more Recipes. There are lots of rare Candies and Recipes in the Canedoom, and we will be releasing new batches (and removing old ones) every few months. Make sure collect them all! And of course Overlords can also Buy and Sell Treats on the Exchange.
For the sake of clarity, we should explain that there is no interactive combat in Treat Fighter. Treats each have their own set of battle Moves and each Move has one of five Move types. Combat is decided via a rock paper scissors mechanic, based on Move Types.
xaya-gaming.net
Last but not least, something I made for the Xaya-Network is a homepage with all the neat information about the xaya blockchain and the ecosystem. Here you can find the current block stats presented in a visual and a numeric style. You can also find a rich list and a mining calculator. The information sent to my server is read directly from the blocks itself and edited by my friend "DarkClaw" from the Xaya-Forum https://forum.xaya.io/.
Also as a new feature, I can proudly present you the xaya paper-wallet-generator.

I´m currently building a Javascript-Libary for xaya, so stay tuned, I will release more posts and tutorials on how to use my library and how to create games with it soon.
My first game on the Xaya-Network is already in work ;)
