Update 4-24-2020: Well, that was actually quite fast - I just received an email saying the wait is over:
I did not know, however, I would be forced to pay $9.95 for an issuance fee, which is likely something they hid in the fine print. I'll still order the card, but I may wait a few days as my investments took a hard enough hit recently - being responsible has its downsides! On a brighter note, I am out of quarantine and getting healthier by the day!
I am only writing this because someone hasn't already; I did multiple searches and found nothing. The referral aspect doesn't make me (or anyone else) any money, but it will move your place in the waiting line up if you are trying to get your hands on one sooner than later.

I suggest you get on the waitlist and start telling your friends if you want to move up in the line, this card looks promising and will complement my new RobinHood card; I wrote an article on that as well. Anyone who uses Brave uses Uphold which is pretty much everyone here. The Uphold card will allow us to globally use any of our Uphold assets - including gold, which is a new one!
I collect precious metals (mostly silver) so this is partial restoration to gold from FIAT; like back when the banks used gold and silver to back the US dollar before they created that horrible piece of crap called The Federal Reserve and began printing "legal tender" aka funny-money. Of course, they still correlate, but how long will that last in a temporarily boosted economy which is using more loaned (aka debted) USD fiat?
The word "Fugazi" from The Wolf of Wall Street keeps coming to mind (it means a fake); nothing in the markets is real... especially with FIAT USD being loaned out and putting us into further debt as we pay our bills with stimulus checks if we were lucky enough to get one, only 1 of 3 of my qualified family members has gotten one so far. I know rich people who are struggling because of COVID-19 (yea, yea, I know, their struggles aren't nearly the same as most, but they do have problems) - it's affecting most people in a great way, I believe only the super-rich are not wavering.
I see it as a necessary step to becoming less dependent on the US dollar which is a goal of mine, and it was the main reason I am attracted to this card. I have 7 cards all with a purpose already...I need a larger wallet, which sucks because I like my wallet, lol. With crypto rising, I am no longer going to the ATM for cash, cash harbors germs, and viruses, by the way... and I'm just beginning to recover after over a month of being sick and in quarantine.
If you want a card, get on it. If not, let me know why in the comments. My first guess would be "Too many cards!" - I feel that way too, lol. I don't want to have to walk around with a wall-street style wallet, I like my vintage Nixon showoff! I figure I'll get rid of some of the other cards and only keep the ones I have to; also, without cash in it, my wallet is thinner!
