Hi guys, 

last weekend there was huge spike in crypto scams related to the services of Crypto.com. I personally was invited by a page called "Crypto.com Exchange" to fund my account with large amount of Bitcoin in order to be eligible for an "Airdrop" of free Bitcoin. They personally tagged my Facebook account. When opened their FB page I saw they did exactly the same with tons of other people. The scammers are getting pretty precise by buying domains, building similar to the original website pages.

In general everyone should be looking only for information posted by the official accounts of the companies. They are marked with a blue sign:

I personally would never buy such a scam, but wanted to highlight this for the less experienced users, because sometimes anyone of us can be blinded by greed. This happened to me in the past, so I know. This problem does not entirely only concern Crypto.com. Lately I have seen similar attempts with other good companies' names, like Atomic Wallet, Binance, Trust Wallet, Blockchain and few others. The end game for those people is always the same - get their hands on your heard earned crypto or to your private keys. Always double check what links are you opening and where are you putting your passwords.

For example, last month I was receiving mails from "Blockchain" about certain Airdrop. Because it seemed little fishy I contacted the support and was told that they are in any way affiliated with the sender. And the e-mails were looking pretty legit if you ask me.

Stay safe, guys and keep hodling. Do not get scared if crypto loses some value here and there. Important is the big pucture.
