Hello guys,

I have been staking for Energi for 2 and half months now. I have received 4 rewards between 20th December and 1st of January and nothing after that. So I was worried that something might be broken. I did some research online, opened a topic in Reddit, but everyone was telling me that it's alright.

At the end, few days ago, I decided to send a message to Energi support and ask what is going on. So I was told that I need to check the number of UTXO's I'm having and to make sure I have only one. Naturally I had no clue what that is. So I googled it:

"UTXO stands for the unspent output from bitcoin transactions. Each bitcoin transaction begins with coins used to balance the ledger. UTXOs are processed continuously and are responsible for beginning and ending each transaction. Confirmation of transaction results in the removal of spent coins from the UTXO database."

Can't say that this made it much more clear, so I continued to communicate with the support and I was told to open the Energi Console (Tools-> Debug Console) and run this command: "liststakeinputs".

It did show me that I have multiple UTXOs and each UTXO has a different timer for the staking, if you are running multiple UTXOs then the total of your coins may be divided into several staking groups, each UTXO stake separately. Which naturally means as I understand it, each of those UTXOs works toward a different reward. Which you can imagine is not ideal. Each time you receive a new deposit/reward the new coins are housed in a different UTXO and the suggestion is to take control of the UTXOs to save on commissions and maintain a more optimal UTXO for staking. 

However doing that now, makes no sense, because I will lose the current progress on the stake and will have to start all from the beginning. So, the good idea here is to wait until I receive another payout and then unite all my UTXOs in a single one. And do that after each payout I receive. 

Here is how to do that. The action plan was provided from the support and I couldn't find this anywhere on the internet.

How to roll-up with coin-control on the desktop app:

1) On the Overview tab make sure Private Send is disabled. No mixing.

2) To enable "coin control", go to Settings, then Options, then Wallet tab and select "Enable coin control feature".

3) To use "coin control", go to the Send tab, then click the "Inputs..." button.

4) There you can select the amounts you want to send to yourself into a main staking address (Let's call it roll-up).

5) Go to the File menu, the Receive Addresses...

6) Click New to create a new receive address.

7) Give it a name like “main stake “ or something like that, then click OK.

8) Right click to copy that new address

9) Go to send tab

10) Click little clipboard paste icon next to pay to line

11) You should see the label of address you just created

11) Click inputs button

12) Click select all button (in your case select a bunch)

13) Click ok

14) You should see you grand total listed

15) Quantity is the about of line you selected.

16) Right click on after fee NRG number

17) Choose Copy after fee

18) Right click in amount

19) Paste

20) If all looks ok, then you are ready to send to yourself. In Pay To make sure that your address.

This way all UTXO's will be united into one which will save time and fees. I really hope this has been useful to someone around here.
