A message on Twitter caught my attention yesterday.

Basically sometime in March 2020, Energi(NRG) will be migrating to their Gen3. Why this is important for Coinomi holders is because, the wallet will not support the migration and the coins that users hold in that wallet will possibly be lost if they are not moved before the migration to happen.

I consider this very pivotal, because Coinomi was the wallet I used to participate in the Earndrop from NRG last year, which gave me my 110 Energi coins and if I did not start staking on my laptop's Core wallet, I'd probably be keeping the coins in Coinomi. I am guessing that plenty of people are doing that so in order to prevent losing them it's time to move to another wallet.

So far the suggestions from the Energi team for where you can store the coins safely are as follows - the core wallet, in their Discord wallet(not sure how that works) or on a Exchange(like KuCoin, where you can also stake with nice return rate and daily rewards).

The team promised that after the Gen3 migration, in mid March there will be more wallet options available.

Anyway, guys, that's about it. Do not forget to move your NRG from Coinomi before the migration and stay safe.
