Telegram native token GRAM Team last year,in October was sued by SEC (U.S. Security and Exchange Commission) for allegedly conducting an illegal sale of securities tokens.

Telegram conducted that sale for almost 171 Investors during Two years and based in an agreement between them and used an SAFT (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens) that is a promise of delivering Tokens when a project becomes operational.

They raised the Money to be able to implement the Telegram TON Blockchain that was scheduled to launch in October 2019 but after being sued they postponed it in agreement with their investors to release it in April 2020.

The U.S. Exchange and Securities commission SEC  pursuing the Telegram case asked the Telegram staff to provide a complete detail about how they spent the money generated from the sale of the Tokens GRAM worth $1.7 Billion that, was, allegedly prompt refused by the "Defendants" of the Telegram staff.

The Team of Defendants also "refused" to answer questions about the disposition of the funds.

Apparently this questions are "highly relevant" to the case and SEC is speed up to find more about how much the Telegram staff spent the funds.

The Telegram in other hand ,of course refuted all the allegations made by SEC and they claimed also that after the Launch of the GRAM tokens it will be classified as a Currency or commodity not a Security. All this Developments are delaying the Launch of the Telegram TON Blockchain that,is being expected to be Huge in the crypto space as the Native Token of the Telegram will be highly appreciated.
