The Non-profit organization is intended to promote the digital dollar, and will study the idea to convert the dollar into a Blockchain based asset.

The Foundation will be supported by the IT Giant Company Accenture, the same that is partner of a quite good number of Central banks creating their CBDC, cases of, Bank of Canada, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Central European Bank and Sweden' Central Bank, the Riksbank. 

Just to note, this is not a government project and will be used to promote a future tokenized US currency and work as a liability and co-exist with the Fiat dollar, but with this version it will be more cheaper and faster in transactions.

The idea of a Digital Dollar is not new,but it's not have such a support from the legislators but with time, the idea can change and let them embrace a currency of the future based in the Blockchain Technology.

There are countries with advanced studies in the matter, and soon will launch their digital currency controlled and issued by the Central Bank.

It's not quite understandable how this CBDC will interact with the decentralized Cryptocurrency, "if they will", and of course they will change the world of finance forever.
