We definitely live in a world where the criminals, special hackers, are gaining more traction control when it comes to Tragedy.
Recently I noticed here, that Microsoft found a hidden Malware script that was on a wallpaper of the late Basketball start Kobe Bryant, that was mining Monero XMR for criminals.
Now they are going even further, using the Coronavirus, to spread fake news pretending to be official channels, and with the world in alert because of that pandemic tragedy, they are infecting emails, video files among other types, with malware that could steal bank account details and also mine with hidden script Monero XMR without anyone noticing it.
The world is total alert and people are fragile and confuse, are good "plate" for people with bad intentions, so it's necessary to always lookout to what we receive in our mailbox or video files, and be sure to check only credible channels to not fail on this scam.
Of course with a virus that almost infected more than 7000, and continuing growing, also killed more than 230 people, the world population isn't quite safe.
The fake news are being spreaded mostly in China, Japan, parts of Europe and US, and it's necessary to stay alert...be safe don't get scammed.
