Over the last two weeks Unibright's name has come in a number of articles from various big name news outlets. These have focused on "Baseline Protocol" and the "Renewable Energy Project"
Baseline Protocol
Forbes released an article outlining what baseline protocol is and who is involved:
The effort is initiated by ConsenSys, EY and Microsoft, but also participated in by numerous others like Splunk, ChainLink, Unibright and MakerDAO, which are all important in the crypto and blockchain space. Each one of the dozen companies in the initiative brings something different and will play an important role moving forward.
Renewable Energy Blockchain Project
Unibright and Wasserkraft Mittelrhein are working together on Blockchain-Based Renewable Energy Trading in Germany. This was reported in a number of different outlets (not just Cryptocurrency related).
Cointelegraph had this to say:
The partnership will see the firm join Wasserkraft Mittelrhein to facilitate trading, monitoring and data analysis of renewable energy produced by decentralized power plants using the Unibright Framework.
Unibright proposes a “smart grid” system, where disparate small electricity producers engage directly with energy consumers via blockchain technology.
