In a previous post I had talked about leaving $DESO for multiple reasons, mainly that video content of mine was disappearing, but also a lack of trust in the founders & a realization that the "decentralized social" platform wasn't in fact decentralized at all. I wanted to post an update since leaving the $DESO Blockchain for the past few weeks. So far, it feels like it's been a great decision. It is always a tedious, and frustrating process migrating from one blockchain to another. No one really wants to start over, and depending on the circumstances, it can be damaging to your reputation. Luckily for me, I didn't have much of a rep to begin with & I had the benefit of working on a blockchain that was undoubtedly shitty. None of my support base was upset when I pulled my $ off chain, to my surprise they seemed relatively understanding. In this few weeks I've spent my time remastering all of the original DapperUndeadSquad artwork & Ive been turning the original NFTs into animations. I began minting on Rarible basically immediately. I decided to apply for verification early and within a few days I noticed the gold ✅ next to my profile. I was creating artwork on the DESO Blockchain for almost 200 days and could not seem to get verified so I have got to say I am very happy with the decision to migrate so far. I am much more motivated to continue working on this project now. Before I was honestly losing my motivation, which wasn't entirely a bad thing because it led to me creating LordsOfMythos, however I was always attached to the art I've created for DapperUndeadSquad, it's the art that got me into NFTs in the first place. I'm pleased to have found a place I can work comfortably and house my work permanently. Right now I am presently in the art phase of Season 2 & I'm finishing up final animations on Season 1. Check out my work and follow me on Rarible to keep updated on new releases. Have a good night ✅😎✌️
