Halliday Bay Resort and Golf Course is a beautiful spot about 45 minutes north of Mackay in North Queensland, Australia. The baby is spectacular and the golf course is a small 10 hole course built by Garth Sandilands who I've known since I was in my early 20's.

The course was designed by Greg Norman, the famous Australian Golfer and built by Garth himself. It's a small but tricky 10 hole golf course. It's a beautiful (and cheap!) place to play golf. If you go out in the early mornings there's a good chance you'll be sharing the course with some friendly kangaroos.

Go for a wander around the bay and these are some of the sights you're likely to be greeted with.

It's a beautiful spot and Garth is an amazing host. The 19th hole is pretty bloody good too!
