White waterlilies, also called water lily or water lily, are a species of perennial lily of the Nymphaeaceae family. One of about 50 species from the genus Nymphaea. Due to the effective, large flowers floating on the surface of the water, this species is widespread in cultivation, especially in the form of colorful flowering varieties. It is also a medicinal plant. In many countries the species has been legally protected due to the threat of natural sites.
