Strawberry from my own crop
Strawberry (Fragaria ananassa Duchesne) - a hybrid of two species of wild strawberries from the Rosaceae family (Rosaceae Juss.). It has many names: pineapple, wild strawberry, but most often it is simply called strawberry. This cross-breeding was obtained in Europe by the intersection of Eastern American wild strawberry (F. virginiana Mill.) With Chilean (F. chiloensis Mill.), Which happened by chance in the early eighteenth century. Antoine Nicolas Duchesne was the first to describe her. Currently, the largest producer of strawberries is the United States - an average of 1100 thousand tons per year.
