I made this post last week, Tezos Foundation Is Giving Away Tezos Tokens! (XTZ)

It worked once... and it took me about 24 hours to receive 0.01 XTZ.

After that, I tried couple times but the site was busy or down or I got error messages so I gave up.

Today I went back to the faucet and tried it again and it worked!

Very FAST this time!

It was so fast that it only took me about 5 minutes to receive XTZ.

They have made some changes to this process.

And here is how you do it.

Go to Tezos Foundation Faucet at https://faucet.tezos.com/

Type in type in your tezos tz1 address and your phone number!

After "SEND TEZ", you will receive a verification code text message on your phone.

And you will need to type in the code here.

Hit "SEND TEZ" and your request will be added to the queue like the last time.

Last time, it took me about 1 day to process, so I assumed this time would be the same.

But then after few minutes, the page refreshed by itself and SUCCESS!!!

This will show your Transaction ID and Block Hash.

I checked my address to see if I actually received XTZ.

And there it is, I got 0.01 XTZ in 5 minutes :)

I think the faucet failed so hard the first time, they came back stronger this time.
