Brave Browser: How To Fix "Uh oh Your wallet is unreachable" Error

By tomoyan | tomoyan | 23 Jan 2020

For some reason, I got this error message this morning and I couldn't see the BAT balance.

And the brave icon had this indicator turned on so I clicked on it.

Uh oh. Your wallet is unreachable.
No worries. This can happen for a variety of security reasons. Reconnecting your wallet will solve this issue.

I wasn't sure how to reconnect my wallet so I tried open/close the browser few times and also rebooted my computer, but it didn't fix the issue.

But finally, I was able to fix this problem so I am going to share with you.

Step 1: Sign in to your uphold account.

Step 2: Click on the error message or the cancel button.

Step 3: Verify wallet

When you click on the error, this page will pop up so click "VERIFY WALLET".

This won't actually do the verification process again. This will just reconnect your wallet.

And then brave icon will change to this regular icon.

This might fix the issue.

But I still couldn't see the balance and I had to do few more things.

Step 4: Go to Brave Rewards Settings. brave://rewards/

Just click on "Disconnected" will change the message to "Wallet Verified".

This worked for me.

I saw some posts about different ways to fix this problem like restoring your wallet or reinstalling browser and stuff,

but some people were still having issues.

So try this out if you get this unreachable error :)

Are you Brave?
