What is IOST?
IOST is a network of decentralized blockchain based on the PoB algorithm (Proof of Believability) and built on the Ethereum network.
IOST is a decentralized platform created for online service providers, and everything works as smart contracts.
We could almost think that IOST means 'Internet of Service'.
According to its website, the platform is capable of processing up to 100,000 transactions per second. → IOST
The company is based in Singapore but has offices in Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Berlin, San Francisco and New York. The team decided not to organize an ICO, but to organize its funding cycles privately. Through this method, IOST was able to raise approximately $35.0 million.
The platform has its own wallets (developed with the help of community developers: PC wallets and several types of mobile wallets).
IOST token
You can buy IOST tokens on several encryption exchanges including Huobi, OKEx and Binance. The total supply of the token is 21,000,000,000,000,000,000.
Distribution of the IOST airdrop
The platform has done several airdrop distributions. One of them deposited 100 IOST tokens to airdrop participants (and 600 IOST tokens for each referral). (To be kept informed of upcoming releases, please visit the IOST blog (on Medium) for more information.)
It should be noted that the IOST team has impressive and experienced members. Many of them have worked for companies such as Google, Deloitte and Morgan Stanley. The platform has been widely talked about in the crypto world, so it is a project to be followed very closely.
