Utopian is expecting to receive your support to raise $35,000 in order to be able to release Utopian colony in Q3-2019. It's vital that we all come together to make this a success, for some who don't know about Utopian I will explain below.
Utopian came into existence in Sept-2017 as an Open Source, community-focused initiative, it's duty was to explorer needs of projects and contributions in the Open source ecosystem. The basic concept was as easy as creating a platform that would enable project owners to connect with many digital professionals so that open source innovations would be accessible. Personally, I came to know about Utopian about a year ago, Utopian is one of the major projects on the Steem blockchain, it has been able to facilitate about 70,000 contributions to over 9,000 open source repositories. Utopian community includes skills and talents from many fields around the globe, developers, content creators, translators, graphic designers and many others. Utopian was a great initiative that needed the right community to develop when the founder came across Steem blockchain, he knew right away this was the perfect platform to develop such a great idea. Steem is a social blockchain the grows communities and rewards content creators for sharing on the platform. Utopian has approved so many contributions both on and off the Steem blockchain.
Utopian Colony is a collaboration platform made to boost the development and growth of open source projects. As a project owner, you can build and incentivize contributor communities through tips and bounties. You are not alone in funding your project, as everyone can tip the work done, while your project gains interest from potential investors. As a contributor, you can work anywhere, anytime, while doing something great: fast-forwarding the development of innovative open source solutions. Utopian Colony is has been started as a result of various attempts to improve on solving the needs of open source innovations.
