AMPL rebase prediction

Fluctuations in #AMPL rebase percentages : predictions made easy !

By Oenomel | Through my eyes | 20 Jan 2021

The third round of #AMPL Rebase competition has been announced. I hope you understand by the title itself what I want to say.

Perhaps this is the question that comes to the minds of many of you, why do you have to rely on someone else to make a prediction?

If you're somehow familiar with $ AMPL, you can find out for yourself what I want to say. However, there are some reasons why I feel compelled to talk about this. I have seen the predictions of many who took part in the Twitter contest, some of which are laughable and some of which are thought-provoking. I do not want to go through the predictions from accounts created just for participating in the Twitter giveaways but it's definitely making me unhappy that some authors from Publish0x themselves make predictions like this. Reminds you that I never target anyone personally. Publish0x has provided many contests and guides to learn more about the $ AMPL token after the integration of AMPLIFORTH into Publish0x. Recently there was a #ELI5AMPL writing contest and several twitter contests.

Writing contests are a good way to get  project exposure to our audience, all the while our audience both learns about, writes about, and creates buzz around your project.

By running a writing contest on Publish0x:

You will be incentivizing authors (and users) to write about...

and to spread the word about your project...

all the while they learn about the project and how it works.

If you have not yet fully understood AMPL, I would like to point out a few things that help for a better prediction of $AMPL price and rebase percentage.

AMPLIFOTH rebase percentage prediction.

As with any prediction, there are a few factors that make the $ AMPL rebase percentage prediction more accurate.

Avoid percentages that are unlikely to ever come up.

The equilibrium rage is one of the most notable properties of $ AMP's rebasing property. That is, if the difference in current value is less than 5% of the target price of the $ AMPL token, then no biasing takes place.

That is, the current $ AMP target price is $ 1.023. A difference of 5% from this is $ 1.074 - $ 0.972. If the difference is within this value, the $ AMP will not rebase.

If there is a difference outside of this the $AMPL biasing will take place but the AMPL protocol does not aim to implement this within one day.

To prevent sharp supply modifications, the dampening factor is used.

The damping period is about 10 days, which is only 1/10 of what actually happens in a day.

In this way, you can completely avoid the prediction between the numbers (+ 0.5%) - (-0.5%).

In addition to this, we can make our prediction more accurate by paying attention to some other things. But I have one thing to remind you so that the following things can happen and not happen in the following situations.
Are likely.

  • A situation where rebasing does not take place and the match is extended to the next day.
  • Price fluctuations as a cryptocurrency have many possibilities that go against all expectations.

I have to say this in order to ensure that you must be fully aware of this.

Importance of average value

I mentioned earlier that the AMPL protocol has no memory. That is why the supply to me every day depends on the fluctuation in the price of $ AMP for the day. If you notice the daily average price of $ AMP, you can see how much it relates to the $ AMP value for the day. According to the #AMPL Rebase Competition, we can predict the 21st till 6 PM, UTC. The result will then be announced based on the rebase that will take place at 2 AM, UTC on 22nd. There are 8 hours in between, so when you choose the average price, you have to choose the last 12 hours average price on the $ AMP price chart.

$ AMP price - Destination.

I do not have to tell you that AMPLEFOTH is not a Stable Coin, so any kind of fluctuation in price can happen within eight hours. You can predict with the help of technical analysis or rely on your own assumptions to make a prediction the way you want. Comparing this with the average value of the last 12 hours will make your job easier. Then you will get the rebasing percentage to reach your Destination price by entering your Destination price in the equation given below.
