Publish0x switching networks: Something got wrong when we said Goodbye to ETH?

By Chrokj | Things I came across | 16 Nov 2023

It started with team‘s announcement that OP will be the new tipping token. Then it became even bigger: The expensive ETH-blockchain will be switched to cheaper OP, instead. I think this is a very good thing!

Still I wanted to add to my existing ETH stack.

If you wanted to withdraw prior to the network switch you had to meet the deadline.

After reading the announcement post I thought I did. It read:

  • Similarly, if you wish to withdraw ETH and USDC to the Ethereum mainnet, rather than to Optimism Network, please submit your withdrawal request by 6 PM UTC on Monday, November 13th.

So you will see even my account history said I did, but still it did not go through and was cancelled.

Unfortunately none told me about cancellation. So while I still waited, the deadline had been gone.

Had anyone similar issues?
