Sony and Theta Labs Launch 3D NFTs
Sony has been a Theta Network Media and Technology partner for years. And recently announced they will be working together to bring you NFT's that are so life like you will think you can touch them!!
NFT's are mostly 2D today, Sony and Theta are about to shake up the NFT space.
Sony Spatial Reality Display (SRD) lets people view the nonfungible tokens in 3D without the need for 3D glasses. Access the NFTs via the Sony Spatial Reality Display (AKA SR Display). This tablet like device has intelligence built in it can follow eye movement, pivoting the image in sync as the viewer tilts or moves their head in any direction, creating the sensation of a solid 3D object. It's a 4k 15" display.

Limited edition release of 2-types of NFTs
- First will be a Tiki mask which will be known as “The Tiki Guy,” Which is very limited-edition: only 10 3D “Tiki Guy” NFTs will be created! Sony will create more of the 2D NFTs
- Second - yet to be announced. I know I am excited just to see this released.

Use Cases
- I can see SRD being heavily utilized in the metaverses. As more and more people get involved and want that more immersive feeling. Utilizing SRD brings huge potential for 3D visualization.
