I previously posted a brief guide on opening a HIVE account/wallet, but what good is having a HIVE account if you don't have projects to use it with?! So I figured I'd follow up by highlighting the project that I interact with the most on HIVE - Rising Star!

Rising Star is a music-centric NFT trading card game supported by a fairly sizable and ever-growing, highly-active, and passionate community of folks from audiophiles to casual players and everything in between.
To get started, you will need to have a HIVE account or create one if you have yet to do so (my brief how-to guide to do so is linked below if you need it), and you will also need the HIVE keychain browser extension installed. Alternatively, you can also use the browser inside the HIVE keychain mobile app. Then all you really need to do is click the login button in the top right corner (or use my referral link should you feel so inclined - https://www.risingstargame.com?referrer=geoduckamayne) and enter your HIVE username, approve the login transactions when prompted by HIVE keychain, and off you go!
You can complete various timed-missions to level-up and earn STARBITS (RS's native token) which can be used to purchase individual cards from the marketplace, you can save up enough to buy a pack containing 3 cards (guaranteed 1 rare or better) to open and grow your collection that way, you can purchase and stake music/records in the form of NFTs from various artists to add to your collection, you can participate in the "Music Promoter" section by spending STARBITS to earn the other RS native token STARPRO, and if you are a musician yourself and want to sell your music here you can absolutely do that too!
This really only hardly scratches the surface of what you can do, I simply hoped to provide a way for any interested parties to get a foot in the door with the least amount of hassle, and I highly encourage you to explore around and see what else it has to offer - there are lots of guides, tips, etc. that you can find on YouTube or any of the various HIVE social blog sites if you'd like a much deeper explanation of things. The Rising Star discord is also very active, friendly, and always helpful when in need of technical support or even if you simply just want to hob-knob with like minded folks about the intricacies of the Rising Star world.
