How much money could you save by making your own deodorant?
A stick of commercial deodorant can cost around $8. The DIY version in my latest piece comes out to about $0.76.
I also look at why we started caring so much about body odor, what we're actually putting on ourselves, and how deodorant became something we buy instead of something we can simply make.
