We have seen garbage posts on Publish0x receiving hundreds of tips within one day worth of several dollars, while we have seen great informative posts receiving just a few tips worth of a few cents in months. And we wondered: 'Why is that?' Is it about the author? Is is about the timing? Is it about the subject? So we decided to run an experiment to confirm the suspicions we have - that you readers, are not actually reading posts published on the platform, but rather quickly scroll down to the tipping bar to get your tip. This experiment is your opportunity to prove our assumptions wrong.

Results from the first wave - running for 12 hours now - are slightly better, but still confirm our preliminary results, posted in Part II: only 8.9% of the readers are actually reading posts.

Results from the second wave were better, due to 'contamination' of the results from followers of the experiment, however the overall assumption is still quite valid: only 12.1% of the readers reacted to the post by liking or disliking it. Even if we increase this rate to 20% - by counting in double views from commentators - the vast majority of readers are here just for the tips. They simply scroll down to the end of the post to get their reward, without even scanning what's written in a post
