Elon Musk Calls for the Dissolution of the European Commission.
Bureaucracy vs Democracy in the Age of Digital Power.
In a world increasingly shaped by technology, decentralized finance, and digital sovereignty, the clash between institutions and innovation is becoming impossible to ignore. Recently, Elon Musk — entrepreneur, technologist, and owner of X (formerly Twitter) — ignited a political and cultural firestorm with a bold statement:
“The EU Commission should be disbanded in favor of an elected body and the EU President should be directly elected. The current system is ruled by bureaucracy, not democracy.”
These words didn’t come out of nowhere. They arrived in the aftermath of a multi-million euro fine imposed by the European Commission on X, under the EU’s Digital Services Act. According to Brussels, the platform violated regulatory standards. According to Musk, the real issue is power — and who gets to hold it.
A System Run by Bureaucrats?
Musk amplified a post from another user that described the European Commission as:
“The real cancer corroding the EU from within.”
The argument is radical but simple:
• The Commission is not directly elected by citizens.
• It employs over 32,000 officials.
• It creates laws that many Europeans feel disconnected from.
• And yet, it holds massive regulatory power over digital platforms, speech, and markets.
To Musk and many in the Web3 and digital freedom space, this represents a democratic paradox:
Rules that shape the future of communication and innovation are written by people most citizens never voted for.
Why This Matters to Creators, Builders, and Digital Artists.
As a digital artist, content creator, and founder of the CLOArmy NFT universe, I don’t look at this only as politics — I see it as a cultural and technological crossroads.
We are living in an era where:
• Artists don’t need galleries.
• Writers don’t need publishers.
• Developers don’t need central servers.
• Communities don’t need gatekeepers.
Web3, blockchain, IPFS, Arweave, NFTs, and decentralized networks were born from one idea:
👉 Freedom of expression without permission.
When institutions attempt to regulate platforms into submission, the risk is not just control — it’s creative suffocation.
Musk vs the EU: More Than a Personal Conflict
Some say Musk is just reacting emotionally to the fine. But the bigger picture is deeper:
This is about who controls the digital public square.
• Should speech be shaped by algorithms or laws?
• Should innovation be slowed by committees?
• Should digital citizens be ruled by unelected officials?
Musk’s vision — whether you agree with him or not — is aligned with a growing global movement that demands:
✔ Transparency.
✔ Direct democracy.
✔ Decentralization.
✔ And digital self-sovereignty.
From Callisto to Europe: The Same Battle, Different Scales.
In the CLOArmy universe and in my work as Marekiaro, I explore these same themes:
• Imagination vs Control.
• Creativity vs Bureaucracy.
• Decentralization vs Central Power.
Art is not neutral.
Technology is not neutral.
And neither is the future.
Whether in Brussels, on X, on-chain, or in a metaverse, the real question remains:
Who gets to decide how free the future will be?
Final Thought.
Elon Musk’s call to dissolve the European Commission isn’t just political noise.
It’s a signal — one that resonates deeply with creators, builders, and digital rebels.
The system is being challenged.
Not with weapons.
But with code, platforms, communities… and ideas.
And as always:
🜃 The future doesn’t ask for permission. It builds itself.

Musk calls for the dissolution of the European Commission!
Elon Musk has called for the dissolution of the European Commission. “The European Commission should be dissolved in favor of an elected body and the president of the European Union should be directly elected”, the US oligarch wrote on X.
“The current system is governed by bureaucracy, not democracy”, he added. His comments came in response to another post on the social network that claimed that “the real cancer corroding the EU from within is the European Commission, which should be dissolved and replaced by a democratic body."
“FYI, the European Commission is made up of 32,000 paid officials and their sole function is to create laws that no one agrees with”, the platform user said, gaining Musk's support.
The statements by the oligarch who owns the social network X come in the context of the most recent multimillion-dollar fine that the European Commission has imposed on X, for violating the digital services law of its regulatory framework. Following this decision, Musk reiterated his criticism of the organization, emphasizing that “the European Union should be abolished."

CLOArmy: Citadel.
Inspiration meets resistance. Imagination becomes power.
After a deep-space malfunction, the colonization vessel Argo crash-lands on Callisto, a planet pulsing with mysterious particles known as Elicons, responsive not to science, but to imagination.
From the wreckage, the CLOArmy rises, artists able to shape matter itself. But as power shifts, the ruling Council sees creativity as a threat. They deploy AI enforcers and launch The Severing, a program designed to silence human connection to Elicons.
Then it happens: a child’s mind resists the procedure — and energy erupts.
Far below the planet’s surface, an ancient eye opens.
Callosha stirs.
The war for imagination has begun.
