I joined Publish0x platform some months ago.
In case you don't know it yet, publish0x is a blogging platform in which, unlike HIVE, it does not work on top of a blockchain but its authors and curators are paid with various crypto which, today, are usually ETH, BAT and AMPL.
The method by which publish0x is financed is partially unknown to me but I do know that part of their budget is obtained from their advertising income.
Publish0X is an easy platform, no investment is necessary, although obviously the income you can obtain is very small, it grows over time and the number of followers.
What I can tell you is that I know a few authors there who have known and learned about the HIVE ecosystem and, more recently, LEOfinance also because we are already a few who do crossposting there.
Yep, you have read that correctly, and I have personally guided a few within HIVE although, unfortunately, most of them have stopped posting here due to its "complexity"...
Yes, I still get complaints about the complexity of the economics of HIVE and its HE Tokens, including LEO.
However, with a lot of patience, I keep explaining and helping all of them who are curious and want to learn to onboard them...
In my opinion, cross posting in publish0x can only bring us benefits, beyond the small amount in rewards, the publish0x website is much better positioned in the world with respect to received traffic.
If we compare publish0x with peakd or Hive.blog, the first one receives at least 5 times more visits than any of our web frontends.
I find it curious that we all take it for granted that we should share our post on twitter or facebook to attract more public to our blockchain and that we are only a few who do it in publish0x.
At least, in the latter, the vast majority of its users have some knowledge regarding blockchain and cryptocurrencies which is a big advantage if you ask me.
Crossposting in publish0x is a matter of copy and paste, simple and straightforward and perhaps even easier at times than doing it on twitter.
As for me, I will continue to share my HIVE / LEO posts there.
It would be nice to see others joining publish0x and sharing LEO/HIVE posts there as well.
At the end, any channel is just right if it is useful for promoting LEO and HIVE besides yourself, isn't it?
