At the beginning of the year I set several goals to meet throughout 2022, one of them was related to the compound interest that HIVE offers us all...
I ran a few simulations to check that I wasn't dreaming about it and finally what I got was the following plot of HIVE POWER vs TIME, which I will get if I stick to a consistent routine:
The point is that by extrapolating the previous plot with what my HP growth should be during 2022, I could see what my realistic goal is for the current year and I decided to follow it.
The plot for the current year shows a target of 18,500 HP, having started over 14,000 HP in January of this year...
The blue line is what I should grow monthly to meet the goal, the red line is my actual growth...
As you can see, I finished the month of February with 14686 HP when it should be 14848 HP with which, again, **I am not meeting ** the intended target. It's really difficult to get the blue line nowadays since the price of HIVE is higher, which is also good as well...
Taking advantage of the fact that today is the first of the month and the tradition written in HIVE's DNA says that today is HIVE POWER UP DAY, what better time than today to collect 50 HIVE and stake into my wallet?
At the very least, I'll support the good cause and I'll also try to correct my objective course, so, done, 50 HIVE powered up!
Doing so, I managed to fix a little bit the Plot of the year.
I guess that this Power-up "practice" is going to become a sort of routine for me in the future months...
