Let me vent about crypto wallets. I love crypto. And I love noncustodial wallets that I hold the keys to. I love the Divi Wallet which is easy to use and nice to look at. And I also like the Ledger Wallet and how it puts crypto into cold storage. But there is something about crypto that grinds my gears.

Too many wallets and too many backup words. Sure. Anyone can memorize 12 or 24 words. But what about memorizing 12 or 24 words for 20 different wallets? It seems like the longer I am in crypto the more wallets I pick up. I love to try out different projects and different blockchains. But it just seems that I always end up needing another wallet.

  • I need different wallets for web browsers and DeFi.
  • I need other wallets for my smartphone.
  • Another for cold storage.
  • And even others for those weird blockchains that don't exist on the other wallets!

Wallets! Wallets! Wallets!

Too many wallets. Too much to keep track of. Here's the service veterans need; a way to store all the seed phrases to the various wallets without worrying about losing them. That's it. That's my rant. I am sure there are solutions to this problem. What do you recommend?
