Don Lemon's New X Show Cancelled Before Airing First Episode
It really comes as no surprise that former CNN anchor Don Lemon's new show on X / Twitter has already been cancelled before airing of the very first episode, thanks to a disastrous first interview with none other than X's owner, Elon Musk in which Lemon makes the 'fatal' mistake of trying to corner Musk with questions about 'hate speech', prompting Musk to go on the defensive and basically putting Lemon in his place.
There has been much fanfare in the last month or two with Musk himself announcing Lemon's upcoming new show on X with the first episode set to be aired next Monday. Musk wanted to show that all sides can have a voice on X. He even went a long with being the first person to be interviewed on Lemon's new show (Maybe he was setting Lemon up for a fall all along?).
As Mark Dice explains in a video he uploaded to BitChute just after midnight, 'Elon soon realized that you can take Don Lemon out of CNN but you can't take the CNN out of Don Lemon. He sounded exactly like he was on CNN, spewing out complete nonsense, complaining about supposed hate speech and a bunch of other things'.
In fact, the first question he posed was, 'Are you under the influence of anything?', likely referring to the famous Joe Rogan interview where Musk is seen smoking a joint. The interview went south pretty much from the moment it started. The result was Lemon announcing yesterday morning on X that Musk had cancelled his show. So what did Lemon do next? He went on CNN to show exclusive clips, of course.
In the first clip, Lemon asks, 'Do you believe X and you have some responsibility to moderate hate speech on the platform, that you wouldn't have to answer these questions from reporters about the Great Replacement Theory as it relates to Jewish people....'. At this point, Musk cuts him off with, 'I don't have to answer these questions from reporters. Don, the only reason I'm doing this interview is because you're on the X platform and you asked for it. Otherwise, I would not do this interview'.
To which Don replied with the next question, 'So you don't think... do you think you wouldn't get in trouble or criticized for it... these things?'. Musk then replied, 'I get criticized constantly. I couldn't care less'.

You know the old saying, 'Don't bite the hand that feeds you'. Lemon tried to put Musk on the spot and it failed spectacularly. Musk is smart. He's the co-creator of the original Paypal, created the Tesla Motor Company and is shooting rockets into space with Space X. Lemon, on the other hand, is just that, a lemon. The more he shoots his mouth off, the deeper that hole he digs for himself and it serves him right. Musk was obviously offended by the interview which he graciously agreed to. The result is his own cancelling.
Mark Dice also points out that just a few years ago, conservatives were getting banned outright and as no surprise, Lemon was in the thick of it. Dice brings up a clip that Lemon probably hoped everyone had forgotten about in which Lemon himself states, 'The President's Twitter feed (referring to Donald Trump, the sitting President at the time), the one he's been permanently barred from, the one he is whining about, how they've taken away his freedom of speech. The fact is, these are private companies. They have no obligation to have anyone on their platform. These are decisions that have nothing to do with Congress'.
Looks like the tables have turned. Lemon was quite happy to see Trump get banned (Back in 2020, was it?) but as soon as things turned south for himself, he went running back to his former employer, CNN with this big scoop. CNN's viewership has collapsed since Donald Trump left office but it's not only CNN's viewership that's collapsed. Dice also points out in his video that Lemon's subscribers on X was an enormous 2.5K. You'd think someone as well known as Lemon would have far more followers. With such a low follower base, it appears people have had enough of Don Lemon.
The only issue is, Don Lemon seems to be the only person NOT aware his star has lost its shine, has downright fallen, crashed and burned to a crisp. Still, all this hoopla over this failed anchorman is great entertainment in itself. To watch this baffoon go crying back to his former employer is priceless. Yet, I can't help to wonder how much CNN paid Lemon for clips of this interview where everyone can watch as Elon 'chews and spits him out'.
This Lemon's gone sour! Watch Mark Dice's funny video clip here.
