When big names as renowned people in the world are already coming to Telos, are you going against the flow?
He said on the video: "Telos is making its own part in making it environmentally friendly as possible"
Who is Scott Kelly?
Scott Joseph Kelly is an American engineer, retired astronaut, and naval aviator. A veteran of four space flights, Kelly commanded the International Space Station (ISS) on Expeditions 26, 45, and 46.
More about him on Wikipedia. If you are lazy enough to just click the link, then here is a screenshot for you.

We will all get to know the reason why he chose the Telos Network over all other top chains that provide NFT minting and marketplace soon on this YouTube video.

Let's try to analyze some impacting statements Scott Kelly said in the video:
He had a successful sale of his NFT's last month and launched it on the Ethereum Blockchain that he is 'kinda regretting because the amount of carbon foot-print he has produced was immense that he wanted to make it right this time.
He will now launch his NFT-sale in the Telos Network knowing that he will be confident enough that he could show to the people that it doesn't have this energy impact.
He is regarded as a World Hero!
All of the revenue from that NFT-sales in Ethereum Blockchain was sent to aid Ukraine (relief from the war happening there).
Being in the space above the Earth, Scott Kelly also mastered the art of photography. The institution also uses Macro Photography for the equipment they have there for configuration and further development purposes. Photography in general is used for observation and documentation as well where they are able to see the fertility of the atmosphere and how the planet is changing (i.e. to climate change).
He wanted to show his artistic side (which he got from his mother) from the opportunity given to him to be there in the space to capture all these mind-blowing photos.
He is taking this another leap of chance to do it again this time in the Telos Network to raise money and donate the net proceeds for Ukrainian relief efforts. This time, in a blockchain where there would be no extreme carbon-foot-print because he is truly an Earth-saver!
He has initially minted 15 NFT's to launch. He also have this video recording with music as the an intro for all these and made it his "artist-statement".
He was able to capture close-up images of the Earth using 1600mm lens. He is proud to share that he developed lots of techniques from the long time of being in the space moving with an immense amount of speed. He was able to capture certain areas of the planet that looked really cool with a close-up shot.
A Question from Erika:
What is the overview effect?
In his 17 years being an astronaut, he has seen everything above the Earth from the space.
"Humanity together"
- He saw some parts of the earth covered in pollution.
- Deforestation of the rainforest.
My own take in his statements:
This is definitely not a joke or just an assumption but is already happening because of what he clearly seen. It's a matter of time before it's too late to contemplate what should you do, rather what should WE do to help protect the planet. Let's act now.
Pitching: Telos has declared that it is NOW Carbon-Neutral Chain.
Another statement that truly struck me was when he said:
I am a believer that we are not going to Mars and we only have one planet, whatever the harsh conditions we have here, it is incomparable to what is it in the Red Planet.
My own take on his statement:
If the tech that we currently have right now that we use for advancement is not able to help the planet at all, then choose a kind of technology that EXTREMELY takes care of the planet. I am proud to share that Telos is the ESG-compliant blockchain that indeed environmentally friendly, socially responsible and has an existing governance to make all its leaders in place to support a community-governed ecosystem and foundation.
Thank you so much Goodblock Team, Douglas Horn and our Telos Foundation Board of Directors Chairperson - Erika Elder for this fantastic interview with Scott Kelly. This is such an added leap to the success of the Network. I 100% acknowledge this fact.
Final thoughts, with this kind of acknowledgement we got from a hero, and considerably an influential person, what do you think should you do if you are a fan of these blockchains that harms the environment?
Let's take time to reconsider and choose wisely!
