FunFair (FUN) is a cryptocurrency made by igaming veterans Jeremy Longley, Oliver Hopton and technology entrepreneur and investor Jez San OBE in 2017. It is a decentralized blockchain-based platform that provides a revolutionary new casino experience.
FunFair is built on the Ethereum blockchain protocol and features low cost, transparent, fair, and high quality online casino experiences. With FunFair, online casinos are easier and cheaper to create and run for casino owners, and more transparent and fair to play for gamblers. The FunFair blockchain is said to be decentralized and offers on-demand gaming using proprietary Fate Channel technology. FunFair technologies – the company behind FunFair has over 10 different gambling games that utilize the FUN token and the first and only online casino powered by FunFair is CasinoFair. FunFair’s whitelabel casino solution is said to be easy to implement and provide fast and fair gambling experiences.
As for the FUN token, it’s utilized in various aspects of the FunFair platform including player wagers, operator licence fees, and developer rewards. The FUN token ICO was held in June 2017 where approximately $20 million was raised selling FUN tokens at $0.0067 USD per coin. The total supply of FUN is 10,999,873,621 FUN and the circulating supply is 6,548,879,189 FUN.
