Last year, my regular trip to Venice ended up a quite unfortunate one, because I lost one of my cameras. My favourite one. Also, I ended up with much less content for my project. But that doesn't take away the beauty of this city.
I'll share some of my snaps from the streets, as part of my #septemberremember challenge. Feel free to add some of your photos to the hashtag :)

II'll return to the theme of Venice later - because not only I want to share some more about my ongoing project (hence a quite regular visit to the city) but I have a huge pile of unedited photos in my HDDs - as I mentioned before.

I saw more and more crowds - even when I not necessary visited in high season. Constant demonstration are somehow ... understandable. Especially after this year big season. But every time of my visit, I'm enjoying the less known spots. The alleys, the backstreets ... and walking most of the time is quite enjoyable.

I think, the mundane life of the city is as much interesting to see and watch, as the architecture. So I like to walk slowly in the morning or before sunset to see the real pulse of the city.
The small details, the gems of the city is also part of the big picture. These are the crafted details which add more value to the whole.

I loved the small and large moments in Venice - every time I was there. So many reflections on the water, in our minds ... ancient times and present problems merging into one.

I hope you liked these postcards. If so (or, if not...) - don't forget to comment! Or even better: share your visit to the city! Add some more story to #septemberremember.
Thank you for travelling with me. Have a great September!
Yours,
