Today, I would like to share a breathwork session designed to help you regain control over your thoughts and emotions.
The main technique today is box breathing -equal breath, square breath or sama vritti-, where you inhale, hold your lungs full, exhale and hold your lungs empty for the same count.
By slowing down the breath it promotes relaxation, reducing levels of cortisol, the stress hormone.
It is particularly effective for managing anxiety. The rhythmic pattern helps to calm the mind, allowing you to regain control over your thoughts and emotions.
