This spot was deep in the woods. A good hour drive from my home, then another thirty minute drive through dirt roads. Once we reach the end of the road its about a thirty minute hike to hour camping spot. Im sure theres a road near by for the farmers to use to service their fields but we did not find it.

I bought along my special camera, and took some pictures in the afternoon after setting up camp. I loaded my cart full of camping gear and wheeled everything down to this camping spot. I realized after I would have to haul it all back up the mountain.

We were next to a 20 acre field, hoping to see some Turkeys pass through. This was a camping and hunting trip so we brought along our shotguns.

It was April, and the fields were harvested already. Just leaving the stocks and little puffs of cotton that were not picked up by the farming machines.

Just walking through the fields were relaxing, going for a walk in the open enjoying the sights and the sounds of the forest.

There was a cell tower off in the distance, but my phone would not connect to it. Probably a premium At&t or Verizon tower. Since I do not pay $200 a month for cell phone coverage I did not get the luxury of connecting to that tower.

There was an interesting kind of grass growing in the ditches along the harvested cotton field. Not sure what kind of grass it is. Seems to like the wet ground though.

Probably just something wild that popped up between the Cotton plants.

It was a nice day, about 70F during the day and in the 40s at night. Clear skies and not much in wind.

A jet passed over, way up high. Probably flying across the country or into another region of the world. I wonder how we look from way up there. Probably all they see is a tiny field surrounded by endless trees. The plane was just a tiny speck in the sky, with its contrail making it more noticeable.

I take pictures with a special camera. Its a Mirrorless DSLR that has been modified by Life Pixel to see light in other wavelengths. This allows my camera to see light in the Infrared [IR] around 1300 NM wavelength, through the visual spectrum and into the Ultraviolet A and B wavelengths roughly into the 300 NM wavelength.

I carry many filters on me to make the photos you see in my blog, these filters screw on my lens and help me isolate certain wavelengths for certain scenes. These filters can be IR / UV pass-through filters to assist me get a natural photo taking out the UV and IR light. Or I may use a Infrared pass-through filter capture just IR light. I can do the same with UV light as well, though I need some better filters which they can cost a few hundred dollars for true Ultraviolet pass through filters. So for right now I have B + W 403 bandpass filters that still allow some IR light in, due to their cheaper material.

I am a user of cryptocurrency and also run infrastructure for multiple Coins and Dapps. I write about my experience with blockchain tech and nature. On the side I use a full spectrum camera to take unique photos in the Infrared and Ultraviolet spectrums.
