Talking about affirmations this week. It's recommended to say your affirmations at least once a day for 5 minutes. The affirmation should be in the positive and in the "now". An example of an affirmation would be.
I am looking good and feeling great.
It's best to keep it simple and not too long. Affirmations can be actioned at any time and anywhere. You could be standing in a queue, taking your daily walk or driving your car. Start saying in your mind the affirmation. Even better if you can say them out loud.
In the same way, a mantra is chanted you can say your affirmation. Try and put feeling into it and say it with conviction. You don't have to go overboard but say it as you mean it.
This will also help with keeping in check all the thoughts which happen in your mind. By saying or thinking the affirmation it will give your mind a rest from all your thoughts.
