I just finished a 10.331km running that lasted about 0hh:45mm:43ss !

It is not that it was a failure, it is that I have not done what I planned to do which was a progressive run on a flat surface.
Instead, I was guided by sensations and, although I started very smoothly, very soon I was involved in a cruising speed much higher than expected, so I changed the objective and I did 8 km at an average of 4'10"/km and with very good sensations since I have done all of them in the aerobic zone.
At km 9, however, I pressed the accelerator a bit more since I saw that I was strong, finishing it at 3'50"/km.
At the end it has been 10.3km in 45', removing the first and the last kms as they were warm-up and Cool-down times I get that I run 8km in 33' which is an average pace of 4'10"/km. Not bad.
This time of year, under normal conditions, is usually the time when I start to feel better physically, my best marks in any distance I always reach in winter although I have some good times also in spring.
It's really a shame that we can't compete due to the virus but better times are coming.
I feel like 2021 is going to be a great year.
Keep on running!
