I just finished a 6.143km running that lasted about 0hh:30mm:37ss !

Last run of the year. Possible the worst year ever in terms of mileage in my "Historical Running account".
COVID hit my consistency on the running plans. I used to run consistently 200 km a month just before the virus and for me 2000 km a year was really the usual volume.
I have to say that in any case, I don't feel as I have lost so much fitness. I think I could reach a very competitive shape again once we recover a better grade of normality and freedom,. Yes, I said "freedom" because that is what we have lost in one way or another due to the pandemics.
It changed all our lives, the way we do the things, the routines we had.
In my case, I've been working at home since March. I have not returned to the office since then, it is still prohibited by the organization.
One of the advantages of working in the office was that I was very close to the athletic club that I attended every noon. In September the athletics club reopened and I visited again every noon or so.
But then came the second wave of the pandemic and they closed it again.
From October until today, I have managed to maintain an average of 4 or 5 runs a week, most of them short runs except on the weekend when I do the Long run.
Unfortunately, my running consistency over the past few months hasn't been enough to make it into the top five of @exhaust Year-to-Date Running Leaders but I am sure on 2021 I will reach a better position.
By the way, congratulations to the top 5 runners, @ervin-lemark , @jgrieco , @argon , @rthelly and @steevc , You did pretty well this year despite the situation!
Keep on running!
