Short Interval Workout

"Short Interval Workout" is an official name of this session according to training plan. It was fun, really. Before I felt a bit scared to do it but in the end I was well pleased to finish it with ease.

It went like this:

  • 5 minutes warmup
  • 8 K steady run
  • 6x 200 meters sprint with 200 meters jog
  • 2 K steady run
  • 5 minutes cooldown

14 K in total, great.

The weather was cold in the afternoon. I started during last minutes of daylight and finished well in dark. Now it's raining lightly and the word is there will be snow in the morning. Winter is here.

Running Adventures of a Streak Runner
Running Adventures of a Streak Runner

What is a 'streak runner', you might ask? It is a person who runs every day. In my case, two miles is a minimum. I've been doing this stunt for 502 days already, since July the 3rd 2019. On that fine day, I decided it's better to run every day and be happy than to run occasionally and be grumpy. YOu are welcome to follow me and my runs. Every day if you wish :)
