Since yesterday the run was on trails and hills, this morning it was time for a flat and asphalt course. 16 kilometers again at a 6/km pace. To be honest, it was easier yesterday on trails. At least the legs muscles told me so. They are not used to pounding the asphalt.
Sava river at the top of the loop, where the @pinmapple pin is. The river is deep green because of the melting snow in the last days.
The recreational path by the river was empty on a cloudy morning with a promise of rain coming in.
The southeasternmost point of the run, bridge over the Sava at Sneberje.
Back in Črnuče after the fields were behind me, this lonely road shows the way to the immediate future. Lonesome and bleak.
Salming Enroute 3 running shoes did a great job again. A bit of dirt from the road across the fields remained on them and that was it, a distant memory on the path traversed.
The pace was slow progressing to moderate. 5 K breaks show the progression both in pace and running power.
The map of the run with a flat profile. 60 meters of the climb is practically nothing.
74 kilometers with 1,600 meters of climb in the first week of February. Enough! The pace was mostly easy.
