Enroute day pace

Logging my second run with brand new Salming Enroute 3 running shoes.

I opted for a classical lower Črnuče loop and took a quick pace. I call it the day pace because it's the tempo I can run any day. The pace range is between 4:45 and 5:15 minutes per kilometer.

For the length of 9.5 kilometers, the pace was 5:03. Excluding traffic light stops the net pace was 4:55. Any day pace, I tell you :)

You can see that in the third K I was waiting a minute for the red light to change. Unsurprisingly, the next K was the quickest.

The weather was odd. Humid, not so cold with ten minutes of snowfall. Wet and thick snowflakes gave me additional strength to keep the pace.

Or maybe the shoes are so good that anybody could run quickly in them?

It was a nice loop I did many times before.

Running Adventures of a Streak Runner
Running Adventures of a Streak Runner

What is a 'streak runner', you might ask? It is a person who runs every day. In my case, two miles is a minimum. I've been doing this stunt for 502 days already, since July the 3rd 2019. On that fine day, I decided it's better to run every day and be happy than to run occasionally and be grumpy. YOu are welcome to follow me and my runs. Every day if you wish :)
