Right now Rollercoin pays me around $25 a month and I don't touch it. No clicking, no minigames, nothing. The room mines while I'm at work and while I'm asleep.
I want to be upfront about how I got there, because the number on its own is misleading: it took seven years and I put real money in along the way. This is not a "free money" post. It's a slow machine that eventually runs itself, and the new season, The Lost Treasure, is one of the better moments to start feeding it.
Let me break down what's in it.
Quick version: what Rollercoin is?
A browser site, seven years old at this point, where you earn crypto by playing. Two ways to make money:
- Minigames. You play, you get mining power, the power expires.
- Miners. You own them, they generate power permanently.
That's the whole game. Everything else is detail. Games are what you do until miners take over, and the entire strategy is getting to the second phase as fast as you can.

The minigames, and the mistake almost everyone makes
There are 15 games. Win three rounds of the same one and it levels up: more reward, harder gameplay.
Here's the part people get wrong. Power from games is temporary, but it lasts longer as you improve, going from 24 hours up to 3 days, then 5, then a full 7. And it keeps running as long as you play one single game every 24 hours.
One game. Sixty seconds.
I've watched people build up a week of stored power and then lose the whole thing over a weekend because they forgot. If you do nothing else, set a daily alarm. That habit alone is worth more than any strategy I can give you.

Miners are where the money actually is
Everything above is scaffolding. Miners are the product.
You buy them with RLT, the in-game currency, and place them in your room. Once they're in, they produce power forever with zero input from you. My $25 a month comes entirely from this. I haven't needed to grind games for income in years.
There are a lot of ways to acquire miners and they each deserve their own breakdown, so I'm covering them properly in Part 2.
The Lost Treasure season: how it works
50 levels. You unlock them with experience, and experience comes from daily quests, weekly quests and event tasks.
Two tracks running in parallel:
Free pass Golden pass Cost Nothing Paid Reward line Basic tier at set levels Everything on the free line, plus a much stronger parallel line Final reward — A hamster for expeditions
The hamster at the end unlocks expeditions, which is a separate mechanic worth its own article. I'll get to it in Part 3.

Am I buying the Golden pass? Yes.
And I'll tell you exactly why, because my answer is different from what I'd tell a brand new player.
I've got a room that already earns. Every reward I pull out of this season compounds into something that's already producing, so the pass pays for itself and then keeps paying. For me it's the single best-value purchase in the game right now, and after seven years I've bought most of what's on offer at some point.
If you signed up yesterday, my answer flips. Run the free track for a week first. Count how many levels you're realistically clearing with the time you actually have, not the time you imagine you'll have. If you're limping toward level 15 by the halfway point, the pass won't return what you put in and you're better off saving that money for miners directly.
The pass is a multiplier. Multipliers need something to multiply.
What I'd do in your first week
Play one game a day, minimum, no exceptions. Complete every daily quest, they're the cheapest experience in the game. Don't spread your mining across five different coins chasing whichever one pumped today. And don't spend a cent until you understand what a miner actually returns per day, which is Part 2.
Getting started
If you want to try it, my referral link gets you 1000 free satoshis on signup:
My Link: https://rollercoin.com/?r=kbgk9vxq
It's a referral link and I get credited if you use it. You get the 1000 sats either way, so it costs you nothing to route it through me. Ignore it if you'd rather, the guide works the same.
Part 1 of 4. Next up: how to actually get miners, and which ones return their cost fastest.
So where are you at? I'm on level 36 of the season so far and I suspect free-pass players are going to top out somewhere around 30. If you've pushed higher on the free track, say so in the comments, I'd like to know I'm wrong.
