Today I came to this bright spot to share with you some information (and a ref link, mehehe) about a blockchain-based game called eXode.

What is eXode?
eXode is a new space colonization game powered by the HIVE blockchain, set in a fictional universe.
The plot goes in like...
"It is 2325 and nearly all of mankind has been wiped out on a galactic scale by hostile aliens. Players are space captains visiting faraway as yet unattacked stations - just as those stations come under attack. They are tasked with an exceptional mission: to take some of the last survivors on their starships, escape to unknown unknown destinations, colonize new planets and prevent the extinction of mankind."

In fact - after playing just a couple of times in the Demo, and getting rekt - I felt like there was certainly a new chance for a totally new Evacuation attempt (crew, atributes, traits, +++).
eXode gives you unique starting conditions (forever) with a specific ship, unique crew, passengers and crates. Also, every player receives a unique planet (your OWN planet).
Yes, I know that this may sound similar to projects like 0xUniverse, but eXode comes with several features that make it stands in the front line of blockchain-gaming experience.
Each card, as cards in the most-known game in HIVE blockchain: Splinterlands; as Land in LoK, and several other examples are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), owned by your crown only. Not by the external goverment forces, nor by the creators themselves.
Why do I think that eXode is worth trying?
Futuristic Space-themed game, lore and role-playing (this is optional).
HUGE projection well explained thru a Manifesto that compiles the creator's vision for eXode as a true masterpiece of the new-gaming history being code-writed as you are reading this meaningless, still meaningful, words.
Realistic and solid developed blockchain-based game. You can even feel the passion in every bug coming in front, then solved and introducing constante improvements to the game as a whole, while keeping up the initial framework of the concept.
Not only has a solid game concept, but delightful music soundtracks, original gameplay and a - literally - galactic adventure (accounting the encryption possibilities for generating diferent outputs, by just changing a single parameter.
Born on the HIVE blockchain from the Elindos Phar's mind and currently in Early Alpha stage represents a true opportunity to feel and take the first steps on a digital gameable reality with a lot of effort and commitment going with it.

To start playing the early-Alpha and start learning about the basics of this awesome project, first, you need to buy an Origin Starter Pack in the Game Shop.
The very first thing that you will do in eXode is to select your Origin. This card is used as a thematic background for your new game. Origins are “like character classes” – except that they apply to your entire group.
Each Origin from the 3 base options available (the Navy Lituenant, the Ark Scientist, and the elected Leader) has a 10USD price.
You can also bundle buy the 3 options together, by 20USD, and you would get all the possible cards from each Origin.
