It is time for another number of Decentralized Recommendations! On this post we will be reporting a giveaway awarding!

If you already readed any of my previous articles [1] [2] [3] then you probably know about Pumpopoly.

If not, I will give you a quick introduction:

What is Pumpopoly?

Pumpopoly is a virtual real estate game. Playable on all devices and featuring pixel art on an animated HTML5 canvas, built on the NEAR blockchain protocol.

How to play?

Gameplay is simple. The players collect a salary from the treasury on every move (Drive & Claim). The players who park at player-owned land pay rent to the landlord (the one that own the land). Parking is free at all city-owned properties.

Currently, the game offers 5 types of unique properties. There are 256 pixel art variations for each property type, with 1024 variations each, which can be upgraded (Build function) to increase profits by inviting new players - which increases your credit score.

The assets are the property plots, alike the property squares in the world-known game Monopoly. Each type of property has a rental multiplier, which increases progressively as you get to upgrade your properties thus increasing your real estate.

The Giveaway

One of the key mechanics in this game is to level up your credit score thru your invitation link. Once it gets high enough you can upgrade to way better looking and earning buildings. This motivated me to get creative with my own so a week ago I posted a tweet on Twitter announcing the giveaway of the 170 Pumpopoly Place, a level 1 'vacant' type building:

The days passed and the opportunity spreaded over the network, and 1 soul was brave enough to qualify all the steps.

The potential neighbor had to like, retweet and follow two profiles, create an account using the link posted on the announcement tweet and buy 1 land. A bunch of stuff worth the effort, since you are able to get 2 lands for the price of 1.

Once the winner notices, there are options of what to do next. Import it and start receiving rent directly from game; Sell it (as a NFT it is) on any of Near ecosystem marketplaces; or just hodl it. No one can get it away from you if you keep you private keys safe.

It's funny to imagine the next meme's situation actually happening:

My call? Import it. Claim you salary. Earn rent. Keep driving. Grow your neighborhood. Join me at the mogul's summit. We are here together.

The townhall encourages its citizens to get creative with invites so don't be shy to shill (It never felt so good!) and make up your strategy :)

A quick note: Pumpopoly's property prices are up 16502% and still rising. Get the gains you need or just eat the news!
