Brave Browser Updates + NFT Surprise!

I have been using Brave for what feels like years. In reality I started using Brave the day Coinbase told me there was a Earn option for getting BAT for watching videos about this new token called BAT. I have amassed a little "nest egg" of BAT. I was sad to see it leave Publish0x but at the same time I get it.

A few things have happened since my last BAT update article.

Brave passes the 25 million monthly active user threshold! In a year they went from 3.8 million daily to 8.6 million daily users and from 11.6 million monthly to 25.4 million monthly users. That is truly impressive.

Brave has plenty of decent Search Engines available to use. They recently just added Ecosia. Personally I have never heard of it before but it joins the likes of DuckDuckGo, Qwant, Startpage, Bing and Google.

Ecosia is a search engine that uses its advertising revenue to plant trees in areas that were/are effected by deforestation. They are the world's largest not for profit search engine with over 15 million users. The have planted over 117 million trees since their founding in 2009.

While environmental justice has led Ecosia’s mission, privacy has always been a central pillar of Ecosia’s ethos. Searches are never stored permanently, no personal profiles are created based on search history, and all searches are securely encrypted and anonymized within days.

Brave also passed the 1 million Content Creators threshold.

As you can see from the card the Brave Lion has no weakness's and is resistant to Firefox, Chrome and Edge! It's hard to tell from that picture but the icon next to the "attack" is a clock. I tried to pick something that related to all you have to "pay" for using the attack (earning BAT) is time. It's a stretch I know but go with me here guys.

Yesterday I was giving out little Publish0x Piggie Bank NFT's. I gave away 46 in total so far so that is super cool. I overshot it with that one and this one by having a max Mint of 500. I think next time I will lower it down to like 50 or 100 :)

My plan is that once the articles get to much to manage to give out NFT's I will create Drops with a URL so I won't have to man it. I also greatly underestimated the amount of "RAM" I need on the WAX blockchain to send out all these NFTs and create them. It's no biggie because its cheap to stake more to RAM but just something to keep track of if you go down this path.
