Move money from Kucoin to Binance for cheap

So i got my first withdrawl from PublishOx on Kucoin. Almost all my crypto capital is distributed between coin specific wallets and Binance and I didn't want a new app to check. I started investigating how could I transfer my funds from Kucoin to Binance as cheap as possible.

Ths solution I found: Convert the funds to a cheap alternative that is both accepted by kucoin and binance. The chosen coin was Algorand. The conversion was almost free in both platforms and the cost of transfering the funds was 0.1 ALGO (around 1 cent in the time of writing).

Comparing with the transfer cost of the mainnet of ethereum (I couldn't use a cheaper network like Optimism) the differnce is huge as the amount I wanted to transfer was less than the gas price for the mainnet...
