Why do this?
It's gonna add a lot to your experience...
- It's gonna help you keep track of what you eat, how much you're eating, and when you're eating.
- You're going to able to see how your body responds to different foods and eating styles.
- You get graphs and detailed reports of how your body's changing over time.
- It can help simplify difficult parts of the process for you
And the list of advantages could go on...
HOW TO SETUP YOUR DEVICE!!!
1) You're gonna need to download two free apps: MyFitnessPal & Zero
MyFitnessPal
Myfitnesspal is listed as a calorie counter but its so much more. It's going to help you see how many calories you're getting and where those calories are coming from. If you're eating crappy foods you're going to have to log that into the app, and eventually you're going to get tired of logging the less healthy options and want to eat more nutrient-dense, healthy foods.
They also assist you in finding different ideas for healthy meals. They have tons of healthy, delicious, easy to make recipes on their app. You will never run out of healthy meal options.
It's pretty easy to find almost any food or recipe there. They also have a barcode scanner to help you find things bought at the store. They keep track of your caloric count and macronutrient breakdown in a food diary. They also allow you to record progress and analyze the data that you've entered through the app with different graphs and things.
Zero
Zero is listed as a "fasting made simple" app but they did an excellent job at adding extra value to the app.
They have great "learn" selection with tons of educational information about what's happening to your body while fasting, different types of fast, and other fasting related topics. They gamify the fasting process by allowing you to earn badges for different things like fasting streaks other things related to fasting. They also measure other things that contribute to your appetite like the amount of sleep that you get.
tons of extra goodies with this app!
The main thing the app does well is to keep track of your fasting time and fasting streaks. If you're new to fasting they have a lot of popular fasting routines that you can try. They allow you to record and see your progress over time in the form of different bar graphs.
2) Make a folder on your phone
Give it or "her" a cool name, or maybe give it a cool emoji. Just be creative and have fun. You're going to be in this folder using theses apps every day might as well enjoy how it looks on your screen.
Also find a special place for your folder. We want it on the main page or somewhere we can get to our folder quickly. You're gonna be using these apps quite often the easier to get to them, the better.
3) Make a habit of using the app on a daily basis.
It's not the apps that are giving you your results. Your progress comes from your consistency, hard work, discipline, and dedication to your game plan. These apps just are here to assist you more so than do the work for you but if used correctly they could be very effective.
If your question is "how do I lose weight?". The answer is "every day". If your question is "how do I l put on lean muscle mass?". The answer is "every day".
A big part of health and fitness has to deal with habits. These are two apps to make that everyday grind a little bit easier. These apps give you a little bit of extra satisfaction for sticking to the journey when you can look back at your numbers and see how you're progressing.
Download these free apps and use some of this amazing technology to help you along your health and fitness journey.
