This is great news for all Coinbase users, for their iOS and Android wallets. From now on, any user will be able to make and take loans directly from the portfolio, and earn some interest on any decentralized platform
ConsenSys, the incubator of the Aetheria, has stated that such applications DeFi could be worth a billion dollars.
Coinbase, have already confirmed that all these applications will be integrated into their IOS and Android platforms, where users will be able to earn interest on these currently decentralized financial applications, It is also known that the application for IOS will be launched this week
Ethereum to the mainstream?
However, it is not easy to compare interest rates or show the balance sheets of different providers. With today's announcement we are making it even easier to use these DeFi applications by integrating them into the Wallet experience
So what's the advantage? is that anyone interested won't have to determine a path for this complicated jungle of Defi
But we have to be cautious, any action requires that any credit may have some type of risk, coinbase confirms that return cannot be guaranteed and you may consider that the sustainability of this market is in question
